Why did someone from King’s phone me and ask for money?
You may have been called one of our student callers during one of our telephone fundraising campaigns, which take place three times a year. Our team of 30 student callers ring alumni and supporters to inform them about the amazing projects happening here at King’s, and to rally support for some of our most important causes.
If you’ve received a call from one of our student callers and would like to confirm that it was us who called you, update your details, or give us some feedback on your call, please call us on 020 7848 3053 or email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
How can I donate?

Are my donations eligible for Gift aid?
Yes. King’s College London has charitable status for all UK tax purposes. So if you are eligible for the Gift Aid scheme King’s can claim an extra 25% on donations you have made in the last four years and on future donations once we receive your declaration.
Please note that we do we do not have a charity registration number because King’s is an exempt charity under Schedule 2 of the Charities Act 1993. For more information please go to the HMRC Website.
How do I update my details?
You can update your details at any time on your alumni community alumni account. Alternatively, you can contact our Supporter Care team by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or calling 020 7848 3053 and we will be able to do it for you.
How do I ask you to stop contacting me?
If you’d like to stop receiving any communication from us, simply contact our Supporter Care team by emailing email@example.com calling 020 7848 3053 and we will make sure you are taken off our contact lists immediately. If you are happy with some methods of communication but not others (for example, if you’d like to receive letters from us, but would prefer not to be called), we can specify this too – just let us know how you want to be contacted.
