Leave a gift in your will

Leave a gift in your will

Leaving a legacy gift to King’s is an increasingly popular and impactful way that our alumni, staff and friends are choosing to support our students and staff across the university.

We are incredibly grateful to all that elect to give to King’s in this way.

Charitable bequests are enormously valuable to us; each one helps to secure the future of the university, reflecting a shared vision and commitment to continuing the King’s tradition of excellence.

Please let us know your intentions

If you are considering leaving a gift to King’s in your will, we would be very grateful if you would consider letting us know about your legacy plans. You can do this easily by either filling out a Legacy Gift Form or by contacting us directly (details below).

We will be pleased to talk to you about your legacy wishes and intentions. This conversation will help us to understand what you would like your legacy gift to achieve and to ensure that it is used in the way you intend. This will also give us the opportunity to acknowledge your decision and thank you in a way in which you are comfortable. We will always respect your wishes and understand if you would prefer to remain anonymous.

We are unable to offer any legal or financial advice on will making or estate planning as we are not qualified advisors, however we will be happy to answer any questions you may have about legacy giving in general.

“I have been working at King’s for 29 years now and I am confident that I can trust the College to spend wisely. That’s why I decided to leave a gift in my will to King's."
