King’s Business School Diversity Mentoring

King’s Business School is proud of our diverse student and alumni community. We recognize that many of our graduates face challenges in the workplace and we want to help. That’s why we’re launching a new diversity mentoring programme with an initial focus on women in business. King’s Business School Diversity Mentoring is a fantastic opportunity to build your network, develop your leadership skills and make a real difference to the careers of future King’s graduates.

How does it work?

Mentors will be hand-matched with a student mentee based on criteria outlined in their applications. We ask that you commit to our six month programme beginning October 2019 and ending March 2020 investing at least one-to-two hours per month with your mentee. You will have access to an online platform to connect with other alumni on the programme, share tools, and have access to templates and other useful resources to make sure you get the most out of the experience.

What we are looking for in a Mentor

We are looking for mentors who have earned a degree from King's Business School or another faculty who are working in the business sector. Mentors should be comfortable sharing their experiences, offering coaching and career advice. While the programme is open to alumnae at different career levels, mentors should feel confident when working with an undergraduate student.
