Campus and library access for alumni

All alumni are able to visit College campuses and libraries for free with your King’s Connect profile page. Find out how to register for King’s Connect and see below for instructions on how to access the campuses and libraries.

**Please note: As of 20 August 2019, all alumni library cards have been deactivated. In line with the General Data Protection Regulation, the library advise all current alumni library card holders to safely dispose your cards. Alumni can now access campuses and libraries using King's Connect (please see instructions below).**

Campus access

All alumni may be accompanied by up to two guests, please present your King’s Connect profile page to the Security team (together with a form of photo ID e.g. passport, driving licence if there is no photo on your profile) at reception desks for access. To plan your visit ahead, please see our campuses’ website for further details.

Library access

All alumni are able to access all six of the College libraries for free -  including the magnificent Maughan Library on Chancery Lane. Please present your King’s Connect profile page to the Security team (together with a form of photo ID e.g. passport, driving licence if there is no photo on your profile) at library entrance for access. To plan your visit ahead, please see the library website for opening hours. Unfortunately, due to the library regulations, guests are not allowed.

Reference only membership is completely free and borrowing privileges are available for £60 per year or £30 for six months which entitles you to take out up to five 4-week loans. Find out more on the library website, please call +44(0)20 7848 4440 for all library enquiries.
