Alumni in Finland hosted their first official event at the British Embassy on Wednesday 28 May. The program began with a formal introduction of the Embassy followed by a drinks reception at the Ambassador’s residence.

King's first official country contact of Finland, alumna Antti Salonen (LL.M., 2012), delivered the welcoming speech to the Finnish alumni group, with attendees from both the legal and other professions.

‘Our mission is to encourage the Finnish King’s alumni - from a total of over 120 - to take part in the Branch’s social activities and to offer a platform for discussion, networking and most importantly, fun, in the form of visits, seminars and informal get-togethers. We see the Branch as an excellent opportunity to foster relations between the KCL and the Finnish alumni,' said Antti.
