James Horrocks

James Horrocks is editor of the alumni blog. It’s his job to find and share the stories and information that keep you connected to your university.

Hello and welcome to your new alumni community blog.

This is a space for you to express your ideas and opinions, a place for wide-ranging conversations and interesting debates. With over 181,000 alumni living in 191 countries, the King’s alumni community is a great source of expertise on an amazing array of subjects and that’s a resource we want to tap into.

That's why I'm delighted to be launching the blog with some fantastic posts, which I really hope you enjoy.

But what do you want to share with the alumni community? Do you have a unique insight into current healthcare provision? Or want to make a change to higher education policy? Are you passionate about knitting as a form of creative protest? I want to hear your ideas for posts that will engage our diverse alumni community.

The intention is for each post to offer an opinion on an interesting topic. If you’ve gone into an unusual field since leaving King’s or you have a unique perspective on a current issue, our blog might be your opportunity to share your insight with the world.

So if you have something to say, I’d love to hear from you! Drop me an email to alumoff@kcl.ac.uk with ‘alumni blog’ in the subject line.

Thanks for reading.

Your alumni blog editor,

James
