A message from the Principal 'leaving a gift in your will to King’s'
A legacy gift is a very special and personal way to support King’s. It is the sign of an exceptional bond which recognises the part King’s has played in your life and the role you can play in its future.
Choosing to remember King’s College London with a legacy gift will make great moments happen. Through bursaries and scholarships, your bequest can create opportunities for generations of future students to study at King’s, whatever their background or financial circumstances. Your gift can help our excellent academics and researchers to question, discover and solve some of the world’s most complex challenges. You can also give me and my successors in the post of Principal, the chance to direct funds towards projects where the need is greatest at the time.
Legacy gifts in the past have helped King’s to fund new academic positions, set up scholarships, purchase new equipment and so much more. It is a privilege for me to be the custodian of such meaningful gifts and I would like my successors to be able to rely on the bequests made today for the benefit of the future.
I hope this guide will be useful to you and will help you make this very personal decision. Whatever the amount, we appreciate every gift. Your generosity will support future discovery and achievement and will benefit generations of students to come.
With heartfelt thanks,
Professor Edward Byrne, President & Principal
