Any information you choose to give us will be held securely on the College’s alumni database. It is treated confidentially and with respect for the benefit of the University and its members in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Data is used for alumni activities and programmes involving academic and administrative departments, fundraising programmes and for the promotion of benefits and services including affinity products. The data will not be disclosed to external organisations other than those acting as agents for the University, for example mailing houses for the mailing of alumni publications.
You can choose how much or how little you share with fellow alumni online by checking and unchecking the privacy boxes in the 'Update profile' section. Only you can see your details if you mark a box as private. All users of the site will have been verified as bone fide alumni of the College before they can use services involving alumni data. Only publicly available information or contact information approved by alumni will be made available on publicly accessible pages.
If you have any further questions about our data protection policy, please contact us.
