Kings College London

Alumni Groups in Africa

We have over 1300 alumni in Africa, and the number of students joining us from the continent grows every year. Several new Country Contacts have recently volunteered, and are keen to hear from anyone wishing to get in touch or help organise alumni events. Please contact Andrew Toney if you would like to volunteer.

King's has embarked on an ambitious project in Africa by launching the African Leadership Centre (ALC) in 2010 in Nairobi, Kenya. The ALC will contribute to Africa’s long-term social, economic and political development by mentoring and training the next generation of talented young leaders and facilitate their participation in long-term change across the continent. It will collaborate with a range of African universities and institutions, and draw on experience from individuals and organisations all over the world.

The College would like to encourage more students from Africa to choose to study at King's. Our International Marketing Team regularly visits the continent and is keen to hear from alumni who could join them and talk to prospective students.  To offer your help or to learn more please email Andrew Toney.
